Of Mice and Magic (Leonard Maltin) 1980
Of Mice and Magic: A History of American Animated Cartoons by Leonard Maltin is an interesting look at the history of American cartoons. This starts off with the silent cartoons and then goes into luminaries such as Disney and Looney Tunes. One of the more interesting parts was the story of the Fleischer's who made the Popeye cartoons. This is a good read for fans of classic animation. Rating: A-.
