Hiroshima (John Hersey) 1946
This short, powerful book recounts the story of six survivors of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. It was ranked #1 on NYU's list of the Top 100 Works of Journalism . Hersey tells about the devastation that followed the bombing. The edition I read contained a new chapter discussing how the survivors lives turned out several years later. This originally ran as a long article in the New Yorker magazine. Rating: B.
