This slender book is a charming collection of letters between the outspoken New York author, Helene Hanff, and a more reserved London bookseller, Frank Doel. The correspondence is witty and heart warming. Hanff and Doel never met, but their correspondence starts in 1949 and goes on for the next 20 years. Booklovers will appreciate this work. Rating: A.
