The Redwall Series by Brian Jacques
Currently, I'm reading some of the books in Brian Jacques' Redwall series to my 7-year old son. He loves this series. These books are epic adventures containing elements of all grand quests. The stories feature the brave woodland animals of Redwall Abbey along with memorable villains that will keep fans of the King Arthur tales enthralled. So far, we have read Redwall, Martin the Warrior, The Legend of Luke, and Mattimeo. Mossflower is on the shelf for us to read next. Redwall and Mattimeo have been our favorites. Rating: B+.
